What we collect
When you join our waitlist, apply for a retreat, buy a gift or create an account, we may collect: your name, email address, phone number, the details you choose to share in your application (such as dietary needs or anything you tell us about your wellbeing intentions), and booking and payment records. We do not store your card details — card payments are handled directly by Stripe.
How and why we use it (legal bases)
We use your data to: respond to enquiries and manage your application and booking (performance of a contract); send you booking confirmations, receipts and essential service messages (contract/legitimate interests); send you waitlist and marketing updates where you have asked to hear from us (consent — you can withdraw at any time); and meet our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers that run this service: Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and our hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. We never sell your data.
Special category data
If you share health-related information to help us care for you on retreat, we treat it as special category data, use it only for that purpose with your explicit consent, and delete it after your retreat unless you ask otherwise.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for [6 years] to meet tax and legal requirements, and other data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
