About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and any retreat you book with RestandRiseRetreats Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales. By applying for or booking a place you agree to them, together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Using the app
Our mobile app helps you plan and manage your retreat. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it for that purpose. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or use it unlawfully. The app is also subject to the terms of the app store you download it from (for example Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement), and any app-store terms prevail to the extent they conflict with these terms. The in-app diary is stored only on your own device — it is yours and your responsibility to keep; we cannot access, restore or back it up, and removing the app removes it. Notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time in the app (More → Notifications) or in your device settings. Buying a retreat through the app is a purchase of a real-world service and is processed by Stripe, not through in-app purchase.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to book. You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and mentally fit to take part; if in doubt, please consult your doctor before booking.
Applications and bookings
Submitting an application is a request for a place, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we accept your application and your first payment (or full payment) has been received. Places are limited and allocated on this basis.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in GBP; any other currency shown is for guidance and you are charged in GBP. You may pay in full, or in four equal monthly instalments (interest-free). The first instalment is taken when you reserve and the remaining three are charged automatically each month to the same card. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By choosing instalments you authorise us to charge your saved payment method on the agreed monthly dates.
What’s included
Your place includes the activities and inclusions described on the retreat page at the time of booking. Travel to and from Bali, insurance, visas and personal expenses are not included unless stated.
Health and wellbeing
Our retreats offer wellness and relaxation practices such as sound baths, reiki and breathwork. These are not medical treatments and are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk, and should tell us in advance of any condition that may affect your participation.
Gift certificates
Gift certificates are valid for 24 months from purchase, are not redeemable for cash, and can be applied toward a place subject to availability.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (see force majeure in our refund policy).
Intellectual property
All content on this site is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
